ECOnnect Energy is a Norwegian technology company driven by the belief that energy should be accessible and affordable by way of innovative, low-footprint infrastructure for energy distribution. Challenging “business as usual” in the maritime, shipping and energy sectors, ECOnnect pioneered the world’s first “jettyless” transfer of LNG in 2017, addressing the need for cost-effective and environmentally sound marine-based transfer solutions in the LNG value chain.
ECOnnect was founded to address the challenges in traditional LNG offloading methods from ship-to-shore, and over the years has evolved to include an IP technology portfolio for ammonia, CO2, hydrogen and other fluids for a variety of applications. ECOnnect is engaged in international projects decarbonising shipping, gas to power generation and mobility, where affordable and agile solutions are required, and in environmentally fragile areas without disturbing the marine environment.
